OVERALL RESULT OF PMA : Authentically be yourself in practice. Wether you want to bring out the inner witch or bring in more bio-mechanical technician, which ever your preference you will have have an authentic understanding of YOUR PRACTICE.

WHO IS PMA FOR? 2 audiences : This is for 1) practitioners who have been in practice for up to 7 years who need a pump, a boost, some group moral, wanting client retention and possibly a kick, a push, a nudge they know they need. It is also a possible feeling of deflated in practice and looking at peers and wanting to know why they are so chirpy. 2) It is also highly suitable for New Grads to hit the ground with some great foundations to feel confident in your communication with clients and your practice.

If you are still a student, you will need to graduate first.

If sum, if you want to increase your confidence in practice, communication and network skills, you will learn how to authentically be you.

DEFINE PATIENT MANAGEMENT ACCELERATOR

Accelerate Defined : “begin to move more quickly, increase in rate, amount, or extent, undergo a change in velocity” (definition from google search dictionary). Essentially - if you are someone who wants to ACCELERATE in YOUR PRACTICE.

Patient defined : “able to accept or tolerate delays, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious. A person receiving or registered to receive medical treatment “ (definition from google search dictionary).

Most of your clients are coming in because they have tolerated a problem for a while and need help. They have been suffering and seeking care. And you as a practitioner is providing some sort of care and most likely registered with a medical board.

If the title patient management triggers you or makes you squirm or react in a way - consider doing the course as there are many more triggers that you may need to dissolve to get more clients coming through your door. ;-)

WHY IS THIS PROGRAM IMPORTANT? Practice management is different from your technical skills. It is the bit you did not learn at university. It is also the bit you thought you wanted a mentor for and was significantly disappointed when you realised the principles or owners expected you to bring in some cash. It became about the numbers.

This program is important so you get to explore you, your style, your communication in practice.

PROGRAM FORMAT

6 x 1 hour live zoom sessions. Max 7 per group.

WHAT DOES PMA DO? It allows you to identify and dissolve barriers so that you can move forward through discussion followed by recommended action steps. Each week there is a new topic with action steps to implement during the week.

THIS IS NOT : This is not a program that teaches you how to get more leads or write emails or social media posts. This is not a bunch of scripts. This is NOT for STUDENTS. Some students are very eager and keen, and from experience - this program is not suited.

WHAT CAN I HELP WITH? Getting you doing stuff you know you need to do and have been holding off because of resistance or some other excuse. Allowing you to clear your mind so that you can think clearly.

WHY IS THIS DIFFERENT? This course will allow you to set some foundations for yourself. There are also no scripts :-) YAY. I do share my signature lead in sentences and you can make them your own.

Why I am delivering this course and a sense of what it is

As a 1st year grad, a client came in and told me she had her 11th miscarriage. My heart sank for her, her partner, the babies. It was awful what she was going through emotionally and physically.

I had no clue as to what say. You can say I was in shock.

I had no prepared responses. I had never had this conversation with anyone and not learnt much. The event made me equip myself better with knowledge and tools by undertaking doula and child birth education and parent training at the Australian Doula College.

This course I have put together goes through the spectrum of the hard science and soft science, the mechanistic to the emotional, the physical to the spirit. I have specifically gone through the spectrum so that you can encompass all areas and be able to have a better understanding of what your client is experiencing and how to better communicate.

What I have found is that there are many pre-conceived ideas around fertility, pregnancy and birth. You may find some of the concepts challenging you in this course for that exact reason.

What this course is about

An understanding of the physical and emotional changes for the mother so that you are better able to communicate and increase your confidence when interacting with the knowledge you have learnt.

The ripple effect of the course is that it will transform your adjusting and your adjusting ethos.

What this course is not

I do not teach adjusting techniques in this course.

Week 2 : External and Internal pelvic anatomy

Week 3 : Physical and emotional changes, principles in chiropractic and hormones, trimeter, foetal development screening and pregnancy test.

Week 4 : Birth Lingo and adjusting principles

Week 5 : Labor. First stage, second stage, 3rd stage presentations, movements of labor and birthing styles

Welcome to 1 on 1 mentoring.

With 1 on 1 we focus on particular themes (after a long discussion to extract them). This is result and numbers driven. Be prepared to enjoy the perceived highs and low if you want results in clinic or in your life.

We cover many breakthroughs. We touch some deep stuff.

The session vary from intense, light, fun, magical and frustrating.
